We wanted a room that felt like a favourite local — plants in the window, good coffee, and the best frame rates in the city.
NovaBonusEmpire opened on Albion Street in 2019 after years of running BYO-controller nights out of a tiny Crown Street terrace. We outgrew the lounge room, but never the idea: gaming should feel welcoming, social and a little bit warm — not a windowless basement.
Today our 32 RTX-powered stations, six VR pods and console lounge host everyone from first-time VR riders to ranked Valorant five-stacks. Reclaimed timber, soft lighting and a proper barista keep the space grounded while the hardware stays cutting-edge.

Every station is cleaned between bookings, runs on 1Gbps fibre, and comes with complimentary filtered water. Pick your arena below.
RTX 4080 Battle Stations
Thirty-two seats running RTX 4080 GPUs, 240Hz displays and your choice of Logitech or Razer peripherals. Steam, Epic and Riot accounts load from your own cloud profile, and our techs will dial in your sensitivity before the clock starts.
